The week started with the usual trepidation from the students who had come from far and wide to attend the I Love Salsa Teacher's Training Course.  It didn't take long for the group to gel after Fire introduced everyone. 

The three students from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets were a little daunted as they heard our Slovenian student relay her experience as a championship dancer and judge!  However, everyone soon realised that they would all gain a lot from the course whatever their experience.

The I Love Salsa Teacher's Training Course provides an excellent grounding for individuals to pursue a career in teaching adults or children.  The intensive week includes an insight into the unique I Love Salsa syllabus and teaching methods as well as music appreciation and understanding, teaching children, classroom management etc.

The new and very exciting addition to the course is the prospect of taking the I Love Salsa Edexcel BTEC in Teaching Salsa Dance.  This BTEC is the first internationally recognised qualification in teaching salsa dance and will be available at Level 1 for 14+ and Level 2 for adults.
